Expected Downtime & Results

LaseMD® / Light Peels: 1–3 days of mild erythema (redness) followed by a dark sandpaper-like texture that naturally sloughs off in about a week.

Deep Erbium:YAG: 7-14 days of social downtime with skin darkening, peeling and redness as new skin surfaces.

Results Timeline: Initial radiance appears within 7–10 days, while deeper neocollagenesis (collagen building) continues to improve skin density and elasticity over 3–6 months. A series of 3–4 sessions is typically recommended for optimal correction.

What can I expect during my LaseMD or Erbium Yag treatment?
Your provider will put numbing ointment on your skin. After you are numb your skin will be cleansed. You will feel some heat from the laser and a feeling like a sunburn when you are finished.
What can I expect after my Laser Treatment?
Your skin will be red for a few days. You can wear make up after 24-48 hours. With LaseMD you will experience rough dark spots resembling coffee grounds. They will shed naturally in about a week revealing fresh skin underneath. With Erbium Yag the healing time is a little longer with dark peeling skin for approximately 14 days.
