How Sculptra® Works
Sculptra Aesthetic® is made with biocompatible, biodegradable, synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid, which gradually and naturally helps to stimulate your own collagen growth to rebuild lost facial volume subtly, gradually and naturally through a series of treatments administered by a trained specialist. Results appear gradually over the treatment regime (typically 2-3 injection sessions over the course of three to four months) and can last for more than 2 years. Once a year touch ups with Sculptra® will maintain your result.

How Long Will the Effects of the Treatment Last?

How can I Prepare for my Treatment?
We ask that all patients avoid blood thinning medications and supplements for 1 week prior to treatment. This will help decrease the likelihood of bruising. Avoiding alcoholic beverages for 24 hours prior may also help decrease bruising. Taking Arnica tablets for 3 days prior may be beneficial in reducing bruising and swelling.
What are the Aftercare Instructions for Sculptra?
You wll be instructed to massage the treated area for 5 minutes, 5 times per day, for 5 days after your Scuptra® treatment. You may apply ice packs wrapped in a clean towel to manage temporary swelling or bruising.
Avoid strenuous exercise and excessive heat for 24 hours.
