Tixel® Resurfacing

Tixel® resurfacing is resurfacing without lasers or needles. It uses heat delivered by a tiny, heated probe to create microscopic zones of injury in the skin. This triggers collagen production and skin renewal. A titanium plate and heat creates coagulation zones in your skin which resurface the skin and stimulate collagen. It works beautifully on crepey skin. Considered a safer version of an ablative laser, such as CO2, with less downtime, less discomfort and less wound care. The beauty of this treatment is that it can be used directly over the eyes without corneal shields for upper and lower eyelid tightening and wrinkle reduction around the eyes. In fact, many people come in just for the eye treatment. Also, the treatment helps with dry eye! The warmth stimulates the dysfunctional meibomian gland to start producing oil again.
